The European Commission put forward a proposal to limit access to chemicals that can be misused with the intention of producing home-made explosives. The Regulation aims to reduce the threat of attacks committed with home-made explosives, thus enhancing EU citizens’ security.

FEA is involved in the EC Standing Committee of Precursors on behalf of DUCC.

FEA has also co-sponsored the Industry Guidelines for the Security of the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road which is also available on DG MOVE website as well as on the UNECE Working Party on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (WP.15) website as INF.4 of the 102nd session.
